MAD DAD IS SENDING ME STUFF AGAIN

  1. Oh dear, that's probably the best bedroom wardrobe joke I've seen in years! Of course, seeing the ABC doing the hokey-pokey wasn't bad, either.

  2. I don't get the Hokey Cokey thing? Am I being dense or just being a Yank or is that the same thing?

  3. The cartoon references:

    1. Williams' recent guest editing of the left wing "New Statesman" magazine and his attack on our right wing government (left leg).

    2. His doppelgänger's appearance in the T-mobile advert.

    3. The gobbledygook of the Catholic mass through the use of "The Hokey Cokey."

My guess is that the cartoonist is saying that Williams' public pronouncements are nothing more than the empty gestures of a repetitive act.

  4. Got it...figured there was more to it than we have heard about over here.

  5. Never heard the term Hokey Cokey before. But according to the Wikipedia article on the subject, it's Hokey Cokey in the U.K. and Ireland, Hokey Pokey in the U.S. and Australia, and Hokey Tokey in New Zealand. Who knew?
