Yet, in a way, it IS a religion in and of itself. Some people call it "scientism" which is the belief that "science explains everything" and "anything science cannot explain is not real". See? They DO have a religion. They ARE believers. They just call it by a different name.
I believe that science is potentially capable of explaining everything and that there is no such thing as the supernatural. I don't see why such a belief should preclude the existence of God.I think the modern day scientist's fixed agenda is getting in the way of the making of new discoveries. They all cling so religiously to the theories of their idols in the past that they are no longer able to contemplate
